To say we "discovered" the awesome brunch at La Estacion is like saying Columbus discovered America.
It is reasonable, and oh so delicious. Gone are the days of Saz's ribs but there are shrimp with chipotle sauce, crepe with caramel and tons of other goodies. Sitting in the old train car is also pretty neat. Wife and I were very happy with everything and the service was excellent. That is the best of the new Waukesha: Diversity (in food).
From the seating, I was looking at the parking lot of this huge property that soon will be the next expansion of Carroll University. I can see so much potential on Grand Ave and it can lead to the south end and west end of Waukesha. Great things are happening all around here, folks. We really need to tip our hats to the city planners, the local business community and Carroll U. leadership.
Shhh. Don't tell anyone or else they will all want to come there to eat. Next time you're there, I suggest ordering the fresh-squeezed orange juice to drink. When I say fresh, it's really fresh.
ReplyDeleteThe best part about the brunch is that it's different every week.
! Thanks for the tip! We were going after the watermelon juice like no tomorrow!
