Made in USA

They sure don't make them like they used to. We finally retired the Kitchen Aid washer we had since 1994. It had one repair of $100 to replace a plastic part in all these years.

I hope we are as lucky with this new Kenmore. We took the floor display home yesterday. So far so good. We did not get the fancy colorful washer and dryer sets, because unlike the hip people, our laundry room in deep in the dungeon of our so called basement. We were able to get away with such minor repair with the Kitchen Aid was because the mechanic setup was so simple that the only part wore out was a plastic ring and it was easily accessible. Sometime old tech has its advantages.

I just put another quarter to the jar for a new dryer. Knock on wood that I have some time to go yet.
