Childhood cartoons

Okay, I grew up in Taiwan so the cartoons I saw are mostly Japanese imports then dubbed. Thanks to my sister I was able to identify a few I remembered.

Here is one before the Transformer.

Here is one before the Power Rangers.

Here is one about a Viking kid.

I kinda remember this one because I drew the shape of the ship before.

This one is actually my favorite as a child. Funny how the ship was named Yamato. If you know your war history, you will see how strange this is being a Trekkie. Here is an updated version. There might be a movie coming out later this year.

This one I too remember.

Wow, and I am allergic to them now.

I do not have a very distinct memories of these, but why were there a lot of stories about kids go on journeys looking for home or family but I do like the dogs. The theme songs encourage the kids to be brave and keep going forward. I guess that was the time I grew up in but I do think there was some good message in these cartoons and perhaps shaped who I am now.
