A new angel and more

A fellow blogger had to say goodbye. It takes me back to all the memories of my own goodbyes.

Sadie was the first and it was a life lesson. All the money in the world would not save her from the evil bone cancer, but she left with dignity and still a sense of joy. She gave me a nose kiss, and she laid her head down and went to sleep.

Aussie was having medical issues and I woke up and heard his last breath as I picked him up. An animal communicator told me he was happy that he crossed at home, and I saw Sadie in my dream to come to reunite him in the pack.

Whitie was having medical issue a year later as well, when I realized something was wrong, he was having a seizure. I picked him up and gave him mouth to mouth and just about to rush him to the vet, he left his broken body in my arm. That was how he wanted to go, and I know he is not far.

The secret is that without the broken body, the spirit is everywhere. When I see a certain color butterfly or a crane, I know a certain angel is saying hi.

I hope one day soon the beautiful memories will come back as joy rather than sadness, and there will be another pair of eyes out there waiting to take the next shift. It is the love and the idea of rescue we need to remember at the time of great sadness, because it might seem we are rescuing them but likely it is the other way around... hang in there, Huck.
