The water issue is not likely gonna get better, just look at the western states fighting over the water rights.
Guys, lay your cards on the table and get it figured out. The mandate is to listen and serve.
I am going to go with Ybarra on this one. Scrima seems to think there is some grand conspiracy by every person who has studied the issue to force Lake Michigan water on Waukesha. He has accused everyone who supports Lake Michigan water of either having their pockets lined or being biased. This has been studied to death and the conclusion of every study has been that Lake Michigan is our best option.
ReplyDeleteI don’t want to have to get water from Lake Michigan and I would assume that nobody else really wants to either, but its our best option right now.
I wish Jeff would trust the studies and quit acting on “hunches” about this water issue. He needs to step out of the way and let the process go through. He also needs to move on to other issues like working on downtown business attraction and retention. He’s got some good ideas for downtown and this water issue is taking up so much time that everything else is sort of sitting out there stagnant. Lets start working on some other stuff!
