Did not do much tattooing today but plenty of other stuff. Barry, Lynda and I cleaned out the back room today to prepare for this busy weekend.
We also have some designing ideas for the mural, I submitted today to BID in advance of the meeting. I think we have something really interesting, and I hope we can get this project going.
I went to Moxie in the afternoon for some hair treatment. The dye job and the comb over were pretty good. Holly did a great job hiding my bald spot... and it did not involve spray paint!
Doug was almost done with our latest remodeling outside, the cedar is now replaced with copper color steel. Check it out!
In the evening was the Waukesha County Museum event. Chicago Ed did show up to my delight. There were a lot of familiar faces in the crowd, and we are very happy to contributed to this culture event.
The late dinner was also a nice surprise. We revisited Clarke Hotel's chop house and pasta, and they have improved the fish fry and now have potato pancakes! The breading is no longer crackers but bread crumbs and soon with some potato chips. The tarter sauce is the meal maker, check it out! I ordered a pasta dish I can not pronounce and I LOVE IT! I am very happy to see a full dining room, and now an excellent place to dine with many options! They do have quality service as well, the turn around is definitely working and I am really impressed.
Another full day tomorrow, it is Art Fest, and do come by later for SomaFlux reception at 7 pm!
Waukesha Tattoo Company and Galleria Edge is so far above ANY other establishment in downtown Waukesha!
ReplyDeleteThe improvements made to the property, both inside and out, are exquiste! I love the new copper awning and your proposed mural is definately KOOL!
And your art displays are unlike any other gallery I've seen.
As we visit your shop and gallery, we are greeted by a friendly and hospitable staff.
It's too bad more people don't venture down your way. It's definately worth the short walk.
Wait a minute, dye job? What for???
